Opening Day........
Today was opening day for San Marcos youth baseball. We had a very busy day with Trey & Cody's team pictures, opening ceremony, the hit-a-thon and of coarse the dunk tanks and bounce houses. We were at mission sports park for a total of 5 1/2 hours straight, the boys didn't complain at all. I know we are going to have a great season. Go White Sox and Mariners!!!!

NO Training Wheels
Luke has been wanting his training wheels off for awhile... so today was the BIG day. He definitely still needs a little help but I'm sure by the end of the week he will be a pro. He couldn't have his BIG brothers ride bikes without him keeping up. I know he is really young (just barely 3) but he was ready. We are so proud of him! We will keep you updated on his progress.
Chicks
The kids love going to Nona and Grandpa's to see what new exciting thing they have. Today it was 1 day old chicks, for there newly built chicken coupe. Hopefully the chicks all made it after so many little hands holding them. The kids are so excitied for them to start laying eggs, so they will be able to go in the chicken coupe to collect them for Nona.

Blue and Gold Dinner
Cub scouts had a fund raiser dinner to earn money for scouts. The boys each made a cake so there cake cook be autioned off to earn money for camp. Cody made a chocolate cake with chocolate fudge, frosted with whipped cream and topped with shaved candy bar. The cake we bought from the aution was a homemade cowboy hat, the cake was actually hidden inside the hat... the price $45.

Cabrillo National Park
The boys and I went to Cabrillo National Park in Point Loma for an afternoon of fun in the sun. We took a picnic lunch, went to the tide pools, went inside of a lighthouse, and rode bikes while looking at the beautiful city of San Diego. I realized how blessed we are to live in such a wonderful city. We need to take advantage of it more often. I promised the boys we would go back often and bring Paige and Cody next time.
