Our family spent 6 days in Catalina aboard a 40 ft. Catamaran (Mai Tai) with the Neuendorf's and the Parry's. Captain Jo charted a beautiful boat with 12 wild & crazy kids and 6 well mannered adults. Our boat looked like a refugee camp. We ate double scoops of ice cream, hiked, rode the "buzz bomber" behind the zodiac, ate lots & lots of yummy food, made virgin pina coladas daily, laughed, played card games, soaked up the sun, cruised around in the zodiac letting off stink bombs, celebrated Judith's sweet 16th birthday, and watched 30-40 Grey whales surround our boat in the middle of the ocean. The pirates even came on our boat one night and drew all over the kids faces while they were sleeping. The kids loved it! We all had a fantastic vacation! We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends that we can travel with. I love the memories we are making!!!

We all had a great first day of school. The kids are very happy with the teachers they got and all their classmates as well. I think it's going to be a great year for me as well as the kids. I can't believe how fast they have all grown. Where does the time go?

Summertime in Utah

I love this picture! Notice my grandparents in the background.

We spent a week in Utah with my sister Jessica in Lehi and with my parents in Salt Lake at their time share "The Kimball". We hiked to the Mt. Timpanogos caves. I can't believe we all made it without much complaining. Luke hiked the entire way up but needed a piggy back ride down the mountain. The highlight of the trip for my boys was going to see the Salt Lake Bees baseball game. They loved the first game so much that we went to another game the next night. They will forever be BIG fans of the "Bees". My grandmother worked very hard on planning a wonderful family reunion for her side of the family. The reunion was held at a park in Farmington, Utah. It was great to see cousins I hadn't seen for years and also meet family that we had never met before. I am so thankful for my grandmother and the love she has for all of us. She is one amazing women! We love going to Park City in the summer, the scenery is beautiful. We enjoyed the alpine slide and Paige & Cody loved the zip line down the mountain. I had a fabulous week in Utah with my kids.
