Once a year at San Elijo Elementary we have "Walk to School Day" the kids have so much fun holding their signs and running to school. Once we get to school they have Cliff bars and water for the kids to enjoy and Firemen passing out stickers and talking to the kids. I love the excitement on my children's faces when I say we are walking to school. If only we could walk to school more often instead of driving my gas guzzler up and down the hills.
"You will have significant experiences. I hope you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."
~Gordon B. Hinckley
.....some blessings come soon, some come late and some don't come until HEAVEN; but for those who embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ they will come. - Jeffrey R Holland
