We all had a great first day of school. The kids are very happy with the teachers they got and all their classmates as well. I think it's going to be a great year for me as well as the kids. I can't believe how fast they have all grown. Where does the time go?

Summertime in Utah

I love this picture! Notice my grandparents in the background.

We spent a week in Utah with my sister Jessica in Lehi and with my parents in Salt Lake at their time share "The Kimball". We hiked to the Mt. Timpanogos caves. I can't believe we all made it without much complaining. Luke hiked the entire way up but needed a piggy back ride down the mountain. The highlight of the trip for my boys was going to see the Salt Lake Bees baseball game. They loved the first game so much that we went to another game the next night. They will forever be BIG fans of the "Bees". My grandmother worked very hard on planning a wonderful family reunion for her side of the family. The reunion was held at a park in Farmington, Utah. It was great to see cousins I hadn't seen for years and also meet family that we had never met before. I am so thankful for my grandmother and the love she has for all of us. She is one amazing women! We love going to Park City in the summer, the scenery is beautiful. We enjoyed the alpine slide and Paige & Cody loved the zip line down the mountain. I had a fabulous week in Utah with my kids.

boys n berries

One of our kids favorite thing to do is going over to Nonna and Grandpa's on Sunday afternoon. We all had such a fun time picking and eating boysenberries. Then the kids made homemade freezer jam with the berries.

San Marcos "Tigers"

Trey had a fantastic baseball season this year. Brian Phillips was the coach of the Tigers and coached them all the way into the playoffs. We were so grateful to have amazing coaches, they were all such good examples to the boys. For the team party we had a BBQ at the gazebo with lots of fabulous food and I made homemade baseball sugar cookies for the team. Wow!!! What a great season.

The Viper

All the 4th graders had to participate in an expert fair at school. Cody chose to do his research on The Viper roller coaster at Magic Mountain. The day of the expert fair the kids set up their boards on their desks and all the classes walked around to see what the students had learned. Cody can't wait until this summer when we go to Magic Mountain and he can try The Viper roller coaster out for himself. Great Job Cody!!!

Legoland

Tori, Max and Tate met Luke and I at Legoland for the day. We all had so much fun watching the boys excitement as they went from ride to ride. We then ended the afternoon at the legoland aquarium. I loved the looks on the boys faces as they felt the starfish in the water. We love spending the day with family!!!
